Wall Decals

You may have heard this term floating around the design world. Or perhaps you’ve heard of wall stickers or wall graphics. These terms all refer to the same basic design element being used in homes all over (my own home included).

Wall Decals are modern décor elements that can be used to add color and design motifs to transform the look of a room in only minutes. These decals are made out of a thin, self-adhesive vinyl film that looks painted on once applied to walls. While many call them ‘wall graphics’, don’t think you are limited to walls – they can be applied to many other surfaces such as appliances, windows, mirrors and even sealed concrete floors. The great thing about them is that they can be removed from almost any surface without damaging it. They are a great idea for kids room or a college dorm room because they are easily changeable. You can even keep up with current trends by changing them often – much easier than repainting or wallpapering each month.
